Dr. Craig Younker joined Dr. Prybysh and Dr. Ali at the Fairview Dental Clinic beginning in August. Originally from Grand Bay, New Brunswick – a small town located in southern NB. Dr. Younker attended the University of New Brunswick where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in biology. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Dalhousie University, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Dr. Younker relocated to Alberta to experience the beauty, hospitality and relaxed way of life that northern Alberta is known for. He wanted to join a practice in a small community where he could get to know his patients and become part of the community. He says “the people of Fairview that I have met thus far have been nothing but welcoming and kind to me, I can already tell that this is a great place to be”.
Dr. Younker has been interested in dentistry from a very young age. Throughout his years of university he spent his summers working within an orthodontic practice being mentored and learning the ins and outs of the profession. As a general dentist he enjoys all aspects of dentistry including: fillings, root canals, crown and bridge, veneers, paediatric dentistry, dentures, extractions, cosmetic dentistry, single and multiple teeth attached to implants, as well as dentures that attach to dental implants.
When not in the office Dr. Younker enjoys fishing, golfing, hockey, and enjoying the great outdoors with his girlfriend Jenna and their dog Mia. He looks forward to getting to know his patients and providing them with trustworthy quality comprehensive dental care in a relaxed and friendly environment.
